Godwin Adams

Godwin Paul Adams joined Transitions Research as an Energy and Society Research Associate. His work revolves around the energy sector and in assessing the quality of life through Future Cities Initiatives and Urban Living Labs. Before joining Transitions Research, his work at Auroville consulting as a Sustainability and climate change consultant focused on GHG emission inventory for Indian cities, Indian and International renewable energy policy analysis. Previously, he worked as an Energy and climate change consultant at Global Green Growth Institute in supporting the development and application of Green Growth Simulation Tool. In his role as a consultant, he is responsible for developing Integrated Assessment Models focusing on renewable energy systems, transport, GHG emissions, energy balance, water and land-use models. He also interned with Lotus Project in designed off-grid renewable energy systems for electrification in Vietnam. He has a post-graduate degree in Energy and sustainability (energy, waste resource and climate change) from University of Southampton focusing and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Madras Christian College.
