Sushant is a Waste Management Consultant, having a combined work experience of close to 13 years. He has a Master’s Degree in Environmental Studies from Teri University, New Delhi and a PGD in Urban Environment Management & Law from WWF & NLU. Over the past 7 years he has worked extensively in waste management with expertise in MSW, E-waste and Biomedical Waste Management. He was plant head at the Material Recover Facility (MRF) under Mapusa Municipal Council for two and a half years and was the local consultant for iDeCK, Bangalore, tasked with drawing up the State’s MSWM Policy. He also has prior experience in Green Buildings and Audits and Environmental and Social Impact Assessments. Passing on his knowledge gained over the past decade to the younger generation, he is visiting faculty for Environment Management at Saraswat College, Mapusa.
